Originally built in 1916, the Pacific Hotel is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The hotel was renovated in 1994 by Pacific Components Inc, whose members went on to open Marpac Construction, LLC. Plymouth Housing Group (PHG) continues to use Marpac as their choice contractor for historical renovations. In early 2013, we were brought on board yet again to renovate the building.
The original renovation was the largest scale type of project undertaken by PHG at the time. The upgrade designed by Stickney and Murphy architects (now SMR) who specialize in historic property renovations, reconfigured the hotel into two-wings of studio/1-bedroom single occupant units. SMR was also chosen as the architect in the 2013 renovation in which we modernized the elevators, reroofed the building, upgraded plumbing fixtures, replaced existing flooring, and refurbished the exterior.back to Our Projects›
