The Langdon and Anne Simons Senior Apartments is the final building in Plymouth Housing Group’s $52 million Building of Hope Capital Campaign to end homelessness in the City of Seattle. It is PHG’s first project designed for the homeless seniors and military service veterans and Marpac’s eighth project for PHG.
The 85,000 SF wood-framed mixed-use building is composed of 95 handicap and wheelchair accessible studios spread over 3 floors, which sit atop a post-tensioned concrete slab. The mezzanine and ground level commercial spaces provide a home for Plymouth Housing Group’s main offices.
Marpac provided preconstruction services and completed the project on budget. During preconstruction, Marpac assisted in providing information used to negotiate temporary construction access agreements with the neighboring building owners. Pre-planning was also required to address the zero-lot-line project, which afforded no lay down area for materials and equipment.back to Our Projects›
